Join us for 7 nights in the Okavango Delta for a tented camp based wilderness adventure. Spend the days exploring the bush on foot, getting close up with the Big 5 on game drives and learn about tracks, animal behavior, birds or intricate ecosystems in informal lectures with nature being your classroom. Wake up in the morning with unspoiled nature right at your doorstep and go on sleep outs under the starry African skies (no tents).

Our professional and experienced Field and Trails Guides will safely lead you in the bush, take you on game drives and wilderness trails and hold interesting short lectures.

Short Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Maun by game-drive vehicle, approximately 2.5 hours, traveling deep into a remote and exclusive wilderness area. Arrive at camp in the afternoon, settle into your tent and enjoy lunch before heading out on your first afternoon game drive. Stop for drinks at sundown and return to camp for dinner around the fire.
Day 2: Early morning bush walk with your experienced guide, returning to camp for breakfast. Enjoy time to shower and relax until lunch, before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Return to camp for dinner and an evening beneath the stars.
Day 3: Early morning game drive with a coffee stop in the bush, returning to camp for breakfast. Relax and enjoy lunch, before setting out on an afternoon bush walk, experiencing the wilderness from the ground and learning to read the subtle signs of the bush. Dinner back at camp.
Day 4: Start the day with an early morning walk, followed by breakfast and time to relax around camp. After lunch, head out on an afternoon game drive, exploring further into this remote wilderness area. As the sun sets, settle into a special sleep-out beneath the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Day 5: Early morning game drive with a coffee stop in the bush, returning to camp for breakfast. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon before heading out for an afternoon walk. Return to camp for dinner and an evening around the fire.
Day 6: Enjoy an early morning bush walk followed by breakfast. After lunch, head out on an afternoon game drive, taking the opportunity to explore new areas and experience the wildlife from a different perspective. Return to camp for dinner.
Day 7: Early morning game drive followed by breakfast and a relaxed morning in camp. After lunch, embark on your final afternoon activity, choosing between a game drive or bush walk depending on conditions and your guide's recommendation. Enjoy a final evening in the wilderness and dinner back at camp.
Day 8: Wake to the sounds of the wilderness and enjoy a final breakfast before packing up and departing the camp. Transfer by game-drive vehicle back towards Maun, reflecting on an unforgettable week immersed in the African bush.

Accommodation

You will stay in a comfortable and intimate mobile-style wilderness camp in a remote and exclusive wilderness area, offering an authentic experience deep in nature. Accommodation is in comfortable safari tents with beds and en-suite facilities, allowing you to experience the sights and sounds of the bush from your camp. One special night will be spent sleeping out beneath the stars, creating an even deeper connection with the wilderness. All accommodation and activities are subject to group size, season, weather and availability.
