African Bush Company
Guide Training
African Bush Company offers a comprehensive range of guide training and development services across Southern Africa. From FGASA qualifications and specialist courses to private lodge consulting and professional assessments, our programs are built on years of practical experience in the safari industry.
With a strong focus on knowledge, practical skills and wilderness connection, we help guides and lodge teams develop the confidence and expertise to deliver exceptional safari experiences.
Professional FGASA Guide Courses
Our FGASA Endorsed and certified guide training courses are conducted in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. Offering immersive 28-day Nature Guide and Trails Guide qualification programmes.

Based in a remote, wilderness setting surrounded by the Delta’s waterways and wildlife, the academy combines classroom learning with practical guiding, walking, tracking and field experience. A true bush environment where aspiring guides learn by living and working in nature.
Private Courses & Lodge Consulting
We partner with lodges across Southern Africa to elevate guiding standards and develop exceptional safari teams. Drawing on decades of experience in the field, our training takes place directly at your property and is tailored to your lodge, environment and guests.
From storytelling and advanced guiding techniques to guest engagement, tracking, birding and specialist skills, we focus on practical, meaningful development that builds confident guides with deeper knowledge and a stronger connection to the wilderness.
Our goal is simple: to empower guides to deliver authentic, engaging and unforgettable safari experiences.
FGASA Assessments
As a registered and endorsed FGASA assessor and mentor, Massimo Rebuzzi conducts official assessments at your reserve or selected training venues across Southern Africa.
