Our private guide training and mentorship programmes are designed to develop exceptional guides and add real value to lodges and guiding teams. Drawing on years of field experience and a passion for guiding, we work closely with individuals and teams to enhance their knowledge, confidence and ability to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Training can include advanced guiding techniques, storytelling, interpretation, wildlife knowledge, tracking, guest engagement and essential soft skills such as communication, leadership and reading the needs of different guests. Through personalised one-on-one mentorship, we identify each guide’s strengths and areas for development, providing practical guidance and honest feedback to help them take their guiding to the next level. The goal is simple: to build confident, knowledgeable and engaging guides who create memorable experiences, strengthen the lodge’s guiding team and ultimately deliver a higher level of guest satisfaction.
